Can we choose all the elements of our table?

From A to Z. From the thickness of the tabletop to the color of the base. Each component is designed according to your choices, and everything is calculated to make a sturdy and durable table.

Are the base and the tabletop independent?

Yes, the concrete or terrazzo tabletop is glued onto the base. The base is completely self-supporting and encased, whether it's wood or steel. Both can be easily separated for moving purposes.

What is the maximum size?

The maximum size depends on access and weight. However, we easily manufacture tables up to 144 inches in length without joints.

Does the paint on the steel scratch easily?

No, it's baked paint, which is very resistant.

Can wood be stained?

Yes, but we prefer to showcase the beauty of the Quebec woods we use. Our wooden bases are protected with a natural oil finish.

We recommend

Cutting board to prevent damaging the sealer on table surfaces and, most importantly, your knives.
Trivet for extremely hot dishes; our sealer is safe up to 350 degrees.

Cleaning

Use Béton Multi Surfaces cleaner, a neutral pH soap, or a very mild multi-surface cleaner diluted well.
Use a clean, soft cloth.
For stubborn stains, occasionally use a bleach cleaner (e.g., Clorox) for concrete or terrazzo surfaces only.

Avoid

Acidic products like vinegar.
Abrasive cleaners such as Comet, Vim.
Strong products like magic erasers.
Descalers, as they dissolve limestone, which is present in most of our surfaces... Not a good mix ;)
Dish soap, which can make the finish dull and difficult to clean.

Reapply sealer, but if these guidelines are followed, it shouldn't be necessary. Inquire about the right product, available at Béton Multi Surfaces.

Due to their nature, concrete and terrazzo can exhibit imperfections that occur naturally and are integral to the material's characteristics. These features may include variations in color or tone, exposed aggregate, irregular marks, and microfissures. However, all these slight variations are intrinsic to the beauty of concrete and will not compromise the material's functionality or durability.

Samples may differ from the final product, and slight variations should be expected.

Tabletops from BÉTON MULTI SURFACES, whether polished concrete or terrazzo, are covered by our 5-year warranty from the date of purchase by the original owner. Please retain the purchase invoice.

Bases from BÉTON MULTI SURFACES, whether steel with baked paint or wood with a natural oil finish, are covered by our 1-year warranty from the date of purchase by the original owner. Please retain the purchase invoice.

The warranty does not apply if damage results from negligence, misuse, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.

The warranty does not cover scratches, microcracks, stains caused by the use of non-recommended cleaning products or exposure to food requiring precautions, damage caused by objects placed directly on the surface or standing water, cracking and chipping caused by impact, improper support, or heavy weight, or heat marks caused by hot objects.

Warpage is a normal and tolerable phenomenon.
